What’s Happening
in New England
67TH NEW ENGLAND SQUARE AND
ROUND DANCE CONVENTION
Lynn and Phil Sa, Round Dance Program Chairs, are excited to report that thirteen cuers
have volunteered their time and talent
to cue at the convention.
There will be Phase II, III, IV and V Teaches.
There will be Phase II-II, Phase III-IV, and
Phase IV-V Round Dance Parties.
And of course, there will be round dancing
in the square dance halls.

What is NECORTA?
The New England Council of Round Dance Teacher Associations (NECORTA) is an organization formed by the independent round dance teacher associations in New England:

The organization is devoted to the following purposes:
- To cooperate with other round dance organizations promoting the many phases of round dancing.
- To build and encourage harmony between round and square dance movements.
- To assist in the improvement of the professional development and skills of the round dance leaders in the New England area.
NECORTA awards up to four scholarships a year for qualified members to attend an approved cuer school. Email the NECORTA Chairman for more information.
