NECORTA Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting will be
April 25, 2026 at 9:00 am.
The meeting will take place in person during the
New England Square and Round Dance Convention
in the Round Dance Hall (Colonial Room).
All members of NECORTA are encouraged.
It will begin promptly at 9:00 am so we can be
dancing and cueing by 10:00 am.

The SHOWCASE OF ROUNDS
will take place on Friday evening at 7:00pm
in the Round Dance Hall.
On Saturday, there will be Phase II, III, IV and V Teaches:
Phase II – Lynn and Phil Sa
Phase III – Paul and Barbara Connelly
Phase IV – Dennis Viscanti and Elaine Mikenas
Phase V Jive – Roy and Janet Williams
On Saturday, there will also be a Classic Teach
taught by Barbara and Paul Connelly.
You asked for it and you got it!
Every evening, there will be Phase II-II, Phase III-IV, and
Phase IV-V Round Dance Parties.
One change this year, Round Dancing will only
be enjoyed in the Plus Square Dance Hall.
What is NECORTA?
The New England Council of Round Dance Teacher Associations (NECORTA) is an organization formed by the independent round dance teacher associations in New England:

The organization is devoted to the following purposes:
- To cooperate with other round dance organizations promoting the many phases of round dancing.
- To build and encourage harmony between round and square dance movements.
- To assist in the improvement of the professional development and skills of the round dance leaders in the New England area.
NECORTA awards up to four scholarships a year for qualified members to attend an approved cuer school. Email the NECORTA Chairman for more information.
